Big Stone County, Minnesota

Big Stone County is located in west central Minnesota. It was named after Big Stone Lake, which makes up part of the border of the county.
The seat and largest city is Ortonville. Main roads through the county include US-12, US-75, MN-7 and MN-28.
It borders Stevens, Traverse, Swift and Lac Qui Parle counties in Minnesota, as well as Grant and Roberts Counties in South Dakota.
